About the Stammtisch
Stammtisch Moldau is an open meeting point for everyone who speaks German — as a first language or as a second. Germans, Austrians, Swiss, Moldovans and everyone in between sit at the same table.
There is no sign-up, no membership and no programme. Whoever comes is part of it. We talk about everyday life, work and whatever is on our minds — in German, with nobody keeping an eye on your accent or your grammar.
New faces are welcome every week.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know German?
Not necessarily — though it helps. And you certainly do not need to speak it perfectly. We are an international group from many countries: German is what is mostly spoken, but other languages are just as welcome. If German interests you, you are in the right place — even if you do not (yet) speak it.
Do I need to sign up?
No. Just come along on a Tuesday from 18:30. Whoever is there, is there.
Who usually comes?
A mixed crowd: Germans, Austrians and Swiss living in Moldova, Moldovans who speak German, students, working people — every age, and a little different every week.
Can I bring someone?
Of course, please do. The more the better — friends, colleagues, visitors from out of town, everyone is welcome.
